Mr Yap Chee Keong

Executive Director

Mr Yap Chee Keong was appointed as the Executive
Director of Straits Trading with effect from 2 January 2013.
Mr Yap is the chairman of CityNet Infrastructure Management
Pte Ltd and also an independent non-executive director of
Citibank Singapore Limited and Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd.
In addition, he serves as a board member of the Accounting
and Corporate Regulatory Authority and as a member of the
Public Accountants Oversight Committee. Mr Yap is also a
non-executive director of SPI (Australia) Assets Pty Ltd.
Mr Yap has worked in various senior management roles in
several multinational and listed companies.
Mr Yap holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National
University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Institute of
Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and CPA Australia.
Mr Tham Kui Seng

Mr ThamKui Seng is a non-executive director of Global Logistic
Properties Limited, Sembcorp Industries Ltd and Banyan Tree
Holdings Limited. He is also a member of the Board of The
Housing and Development Board. Mr Tham was the former
Chief Corporate Officer of CapitaLand Limited overseeing
the corporate services functions of the real estate group from
2002 to 2008.
Mr Tham was formerly director of Raffles Medical Group Ltd
and CapitaLand China Holdings Pte Ltd.
Mr Tham graduated from the University of Oxford with a
Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science.
Mr Gautam Banerjee

Lead Independent Director
Mr Gautam Banerjee was appointed as Lead Independent
Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Straits
Trading with effect from 2 January 2013.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Singapore from 2004 to 2012
and its Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific region
since 2005. He was also the interim Chairman of PwC India
in 2009/2010.
Currently the Chairman of Blackstone Singapore and Vice
Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation, Mr Banerjee
also serves on the Boards of the Economic Development Board,
the APEC Business Advisory Council, the Yale-NUS College,
the GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Company)
and Singapore Airlines Limited. He has also served on the
Corporate Governance Council of the Monetary Authority of
Singapore and the Companies Act ReformSteering Committee.
Mr Banerjee graduated from the University of Warwick with
a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting and Financial
Analysis. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England andWales and the Institute of Certified
Public Accountants in Singapore.
